Dramatic works of Molière, Henri van Laun (transl.)
Mr. van Laun's translation of Molière's plays is extremely useful to persons who wish to post articles on Molière. My blog is available to all and I am not make money. I wrote a PhD thesis on Molière, but could not publish a book on the subject because my teaching responsibilities kept me busy. I taught courses on other areas of learning. Mr. van Laun's translation is accurate and he provides valuable and accurate information on each play. He has translated the lyrics that were set to music by Jean-Baptiste Lully. Mr. van Laun's translation of Molière contains pictures I may use to illustrate my posts. Internet Archives provides me with quotations. My readers are not confined to summaries. My articles are still are a pioneering stage, but may blend media (text and pictures). YouTube has the music to wich Lully set Molière's comédies-ballets. My work is time consuming, by I have tools I that were not available to me as a university teacher. Iam a former president of the Canadian Association of University and College Teachers of French, and a former member of the Board of Directors and the Executive of the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences. I was overworked out of my position. I no longer have access to a research library, but I hope my former employers will provide assistance. Fortunately, I have Internet Archive, the project Gutenberg, Wikisource, etc.
I thank you, Micheline Bourbeau-Walker, PhD
